5 Fall Jackets for Any Occasion
As the weather starts to turn, we must dust off those jackets in the closet and prepare for the colder months. OR as I like to do, get rid of the old, to make room for the new! But seriously…we make a pact now, you have to get rid of something to bring something new in. Less is more I’ve learned :) Below I rounded up my 5 must-have fall jackets for any occasion. For Cozying Up At The Pumpkin Patch OR Apple Picking – It’s all about the flannel!
I couldn’t decide on just one option here, because both of these jackets are to die for! They are so yummy and cozy, yet still CUTE. Perfect for you IG picture at the pumpkin patch 😉 I am loving the “oversized” trend, and it’s especially good for layering going into the winter months. It looks good on everyone, any age.
Plus being comfortable is key, so these plaid jackets are a definite yes.
For a Night Out –Color is IN and I am here for it! Love this take on a classic, sexy, leather moto jacket. This red is great-i would pair it with a white tank, white bodysuit or white t and jeans. Worth the price, this jacket is a piece you will be racking up all the compliments on.
For The Perfect Work to Dinner Jacket – I love this jacket because it's so good over EVERYTHING. Pair it with a cute monochromatic sweatsuit like the model in this picture, over your trousers and tee for work, OR over a dress for dinner. This jacket will be a staple in your closet for awhile!
For When Fall Starts Feeling Like Winter –
Puffer vests are my favorite. I don’t know what it is about them, but I am OBSESSED. They are so fun and add so much dimension to your look. I like them for when it starts to get colder, but it’s not crazy cold yet. You know what I mean? Those in-between months that you need something a little extra, but not the full down jacket yet? Boom! Bring on the puffer vest. So cute, chic and warm.
The one I have pictured above has a similar vibe. I got it at Nordstrom Rack on SALE, and I am so obsessed. You see how in two of the pics I layered my vest and flannel…so many of these jackets work both together and separate
For Anytime, Any day, Anywhere –
This jacket can be dressed up or down, and really worn anywhere. It definitely has that casual, cool look and feel to it, but if you need an extra layer you can pair it over your hoodie, your chic sweater, your classic white tee - it's so versatile. Love the sherpa with the leather detail - so cute.
