Debra is an astrologer who brings concrete and practical astrology to the everyday person. Her goal is to help people going through major life changes and heal in positive and joyful ways. We recently interviewed Debra about navigating your birth chart and she explained the four elements of astrology and what those could mean for the signs in our birth charts.
Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces
Water signs revolve around feeling and caring for other people. If you have a lot of water in your chart, you tend to feel for others before you even feel for yourself. It is important for water signs to remember to maintain their personal space. You can take a yoga class or learn to meditate, anything to go in and reclaim that space for your own needs and emotions. Water signs need to learn to set those boundaries to have their own interests in mind.
Air Signs: Gemini, Aquarius and Libra
Air signs are a bit more scattered. They tend to be doing a million things at once, and while they’re doing that, they easily forget things along the way. They like to talk and communicate, and are typically super social. Air signs are always asking questions and on the move.
Earth Signs: Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn
Earth signs are the ones that get things done. They are practical and punctual. . Earth signs are also quite organized and good with money. If you don’t have any of these signs in your chart, organization is much more of a focused task. It’s something that becomes much more of a conscious effort and something that requires concentration.
Fire Signs: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius
Fire signs are quite loud and fiery (hence the name fire sign!). They are very opinionated and can be very headstrong. Oftentimes, when they do things they go all in and can do too much. If they like to do something they can easily start doing it too much.
Debra says that with your chart, it’s about looking at how each sign plays a role in your life and leaning into your strengths, while being aware of what may be less natural for you.
