Three Safety Tips For Traveling During COVID

Traveling during Covid

By: Team Better Together

Travelling in the middle of the pandemic is certainly not ideal, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. If that’s the case, here are three amazing tips to help protect you against the virus during your trip!

Wipes are a Must

One of the toughest parts about this pandemic is that even if you’re being as safe as possible, someone near you being unsafe could put you at risk too. This might be especially hard to deal with when traveling, when any number of complete strangers could be touching the same things as you — and who knows where they’ve been! One solution? Get some good disinfectant wipes and wipe down EVERYTHING thoroughly before you touch it. That way, germs will be gone from the many high contact surfaces you may encounter before you’re exposed to them.

Mask Up!

We all know how important wearing a mask is, but this can be difficult on a plane. What if you get hungry or thirsty when traveling? While there’s no easy solution, the best option is to be sure to eat and drink enough before you embark on your journey. This way, you can leave your mask on at all times and protect both yourself and those around you from the virus.

Shield Your Eyes

Did you know that the virus can be transmitted through your eyes? To protect from those disease-carrying droplets even more, be sure to grab some protective glasses and wear them while you’re traveling. Even if those around you on whatever plane, train, or automobile you’re traveling in aren’t being super careful, these tips can help you to do everything in your power to protect yourself and your loved ones. So now that you’re armed with this new knowledge, we hope you enjoy your trip and, above all, stay safe!
